Job Req Number: Time Type: Full Time EDI Specialist – Business Analyst The EDI Business Analyst is responsible for translating customer business needs and requirements into technical solutions while coordinating EDI integration projects under the DSV E2E governance process. This role requires close collaboration with internal teams including Project Management, Development, QA, and Support, as well as external customers and trading partners. The position focuses on implementing project requirements into workable interfaces, enhancing existing EDI solutions, enabling system architectures to exchange automated transactions, and analyzing customer technical specifications to deliver high-value IT solutions globally. Tasks and Responsibilities Act as a liaison between end users/customers and developers to define business and technical requirements clearly. Analyze business and technical requirements for EDI integrations. Coordinate and support EDI implementation projects. Develop and maintain EDI mapping specifications and technical documentation. Perform integration testing, production implementation, and post-go-live support. Collaborate with Development, QA, Support, and external stakeholders. Work within Agile/Scrum environments to deliver high-quality solutions. Support communication protocols such as FTP, SFTP, HTTP/HTTPS, SMTP, and AS2. Education and Skills Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills in English. Detail-oriented and able to work in fast-paced environments. Team player with the ability to work independently. Agile mindset and adaptability to new technologies. Agile mindset with the ability to proactively manage and prioritize tasks. Knowledge of EDI communication protocols and standards. Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and tools. Minimum Work Experience Minimum of 3 years of experience as an EDI Business Analyst or in a similar IT/EDI-related role. Experience with at least one EDI standard such as UN/EDIFACT or ANSI-X12. Hands-on experience with IBM Sterling Integrator. Experience working with the Lightwell Framework. Experience creating EDI specifications and mappings, ideally using GEFEG. Background in integration testing, implementation, and production support. Experience working in Agile and/or Scrum environments. Experience managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Familiarity with operational processes within the freight forwarding or logistics industry is preferred. Proven ability to collaborate with multicultural teams and external partners. #J-18808-Ljbffr
