Area Head of LCL Translate regional product strategy into actionable business plans, drive execution in the area, and manage LCL & CRM products to achieve growth ambition and customer satisfaction. Directly responsible for the area P&L, ensuring profitable growth for each product. Continuously enhance product competitiveness by optimizing the portfolio and contributing to the product growth plan as a member of the regional product leadership team. Build a motivated and engaged product organization within the area. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute area business plans to deliver the growth target. Promote and elaborate product value propositions to the commercial team and customers. Guide product positioning in the area to meet customer needs. Drive price‑setting strategy in the area to achieve growth on target customer segments. Achieve sales pipeline performance on the product. Be accountable and responsible for product P&L in the area. Drive product performance management across areas. Govern and control local variable costs (CFS, LTL, etc.) and cost‑to‑serve (direct fixed and variable SG&A). Drive and safeguard service quality by meeting service standards and customer commitments. Maintain operational excellence to ensure file‑handling accuracy. Ensure financial reporting hygiene on the product’s P&L. Execute product digitalization plans to enable scalable growth. Drive automation programs to improve productivity. Lead change management to implement new ways of working enabled by digitalization and automation. Lead and develop the product team, foster motivation, and manage talent development. Drive people performance management and organizational development. Qualifications & Skills 10+ years of freight forwarding experience. Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business preferred. Deep knowledge of the LCL product and the local market. Strong team leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Customer‑focused with excellent attention to detail and drive to serve customers. Ability to identify customer pain points using qualitative and quantitative data. Strong P&L experience with a solid understanding of drivers. Strategic mindset and strong execution skills.
