Job Summary Kids2 operates on SAP S/4HANA with two Value Added Networks (TrueCommerce and SPS Commerce), trading with 80+ partners globally across X12, EDIFACT, and Tradacoms standards. The SAP EDI Operations Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day management, monitoring, and optimization of this EDI environment. This role serves as the primary point of contact for all EDI trading partner integrations, focusing on operational excellence: transaction monitoring, IDoc lifecycle management, partner testing and onboarding, and platform administration. The role emphasizes SAP-integrated EDI operations and partner lifecycle management rather than custom software development. This is a full-time, Monday through Friday position based in Mexico. Responsibilities Design, implement, and monitor EDI transaction flows across all global trading partners (X12, EDIFACT, Tradacoms), investigate and resolve transaction failures, rejected documents, and data mismatches Perform daily IDoc monitoring in SAP S/4HANA: identify failed or stuck IDocs, reprocess, and resolve root causes Configure and maintain SAP EDI partner profiles, output types, message types, port assignments, and IDoc processing rules Troubleshoot SAP-side EDI failures and coordinate with the SAP development team on integration issues Respond to and manage production EDI incidents, including root cause analysis, resolution, and stakeholder communication during critical failures Manage end-to-end trading partner onboarding: requirements gathering, EDI mapping setup, testing, certification, and go-live Serve as primary point of contact for trading partner EDI teams, retailer compliance departments, and internal stakeholders including Supply Chain and Finance Administer SPS Commerce, TrueCommerce, and EDICOM platforms: user management, map configuration, partner setup, transaction monitoring Work directly with EDI Value Added Network (VAN) providers on configuration, troubleshooting, error correction, and error reporting Ensure compliance with retailer-specific EDI requirements across all active trading partners Maintain trading partner matrix, EDI operations documentation, and operational metrics reporting Leverage AI tools and automation to streamline EDI operations, error detection, reporting, and daily workflows Submit weekly status reports per IT team requirements Other duties and responsibilities as assigned Qualifications & Experience 3+ years of experience in EDI operations, EDI analysis, or B2B integration support 2+ years of hands-on experience with SAP (ECC or S/4HANA) in an EDI context Demonstrated experience with ANSI X12, EDIFACT, and Tradacoms EDI standards Experience working directly with EDI VANs and middleware platforms (SPS Commerce, TrueCommerce, EDICOM, or comparable) on configuration, troubleshooting, and error resolution Experience supporting EDI integrations for retail, consumer goods, or manufacturing trading partners Strong English communication skills (written and verbal) for daily interaction with US-based team and English-speaking trading partners Self-directed work style with the ability to manage daily operations independently across time zones Proficiency with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude) and a willingness to integrate AI into daily work processes Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent professional experience Technical Skills SPS Commerce, TrueCommerce, and/or EDICOM platform administration and daily operations ANSI X12, EDIFACT, and Tradacoms EDI transaction standards and troubleshooting SAP S/4HANA or ECC EDI configuration: IDoc processing, partner profiles, output types, port assignments, and SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) Nice to Have Familiarity with retailer compliance programs (Walmart Retail link, Amazon Vendor Central EDI, Target Partners Online, CommerceHub, Order Stream, Rithum) ABAP debugging skills for troubleshooting Spanish fluency for local office coordination Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to talk or hear, sit, use hands, reach with hands and arms, and may regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Work Environment & On-Call Expected in office at minimum 3 days/week and moving towards 5 days/week. Standard business hours with minimum 4 hours daily overlap with US Eastern Time zone. On-call availability for critical EDI failures affecting order processing or shipments (rare but required).
