Job Summary The Human Resources Manager is responsible for managing all HR Operations for Nidec Drives in Mexico, including full cycle talent acquisition, benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, workforce planning and ensuring compliance with all country regulations. Job Responsibilities Supervise, train and develop the human resources team in Mexico. Manage the full cycle recruiting process for Mexico hourly and salaried teams ensuring staffing needs are met according to company processes. Work with leadership to develop a workforce plan and ensure implementation. Administer benefit programs in Mexico in partnership with the Global HR Team, ensuring thorough employee communication and satisfaction. Manage the Mexico HRIS system ensuring records are maintained and updated. Work with payroll to ensure accurate time reporting, employee deductions and payments. Partner with Managers to address and resolve performance issues and employee conflicts. Be the Mexico HR regulation expert and ensure CT complies with all country and local regulations. Actively participate in Union negotiations, Union relations, and compliance with union agreements. Ensure Company policies and procedures are up-to-date, compliant with laws and with union regulations, and communicated to employees. Organize and ensure timely completion of compliance training and associated requirements. Manage compensation structure and job descriptions. Employee recognition and engagement. Partner with Health and Safety leader to ensure cross communication and partnership on safety initiatives and reporting. Performs additional HR and administrative duties as assigned. Qualifications and Experience Education: Essential Bachelor's degree in HR Management or related field. Desirable HR certification. Experience: Minimum of 5 years in an HR role managing HR team members. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong problem solving skills and leadership ability. Ability to multitask and prioritize work. Desire to work as a team with a result driven approach. Strong computer skills, MS Office and HRIS knowledge. Experience managing union relationships. Full understanding of country and local regulations. Experience working with health and safety regulations and investigations is a plus. Previous experience working with an HRIS System-Workday knowledge preferred. Languages: Spanish, English. Typically has advanced knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline with understanding of the impact of work on other areas of the organization.
