Manufacturing Company in Apodaca is looking for a BUYER Monthly Base Salary = $38,000 - 40,000 MXN (Less applicable taxes). The Buyer is responsible for the day-to-day execution of purchasing activities for plastic injection commodities (domestic) and international suppliers (primarily Europe, and Asia). This role focuses on operational purchasing tasks including purchase order placement, supplier follow‑up, KPI tracking, and system recommendations review within a manufacturing plant environment. Key Responsibilities 1. Commodity & Supplier Management Manage plastic injection commodities from domestic suppliers Coordinate purchasing activities with international suppliers (Europe, Asia) Monitor and develop supplier relationships as needed 2. Purchase Order Management Timely placement of purchase orders based on system recommendations and demand Follow up on open orders to ensure on‑time delivery Review and act on system‑generated purchasing recommendations (MRP/ERP) 3. KPI Tracking & Reporting Monitor and report key purchasing KPIs: past due orders, inventory levels, spend, and supplier on‑time delivery Identify deviations and elevate as needed 4. System & Process Execution Operate within SAP ERP for all purchasing transactions Apply MRP logic for demand planning and order execution Ensure data accuracy and compliance within the system Requirements Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field Minimum 3–5 years of experience in purchasing or supply chain roles Background in manufacturing industry (plant experience required) Technical Skills Proficient in ERP (purchasing/procurement modules) Solid understanding of MRP (Material Requirements Planning) logic Knowledge of purchasing KPIs: past due, inventory levels, spend, OTD Familiarity with plastic injection, stamping, and metal parts manufacturing processes Knowledge of aluminum mold components is a plus Languages & Documentation English: Advanced (required) — for communication with international suppliers Valid visa (required for international travel / supplier visits) Nice to Have Broader supply chain knowledge (logistics, planning, sourcing) Attention to detail and follow‑through in a fast‑paced plant environment Strong organizational and prioritization skills Ability to manage multiple suppliers and commodities simultaneously Data‑driven mindset with comfort working with KPIs and dashboards Proactive communication with internal stakeholders and external suppliers Team player with a hands‑on, operational approach #J-18808-Ljbffr
