Our team is comprised of a dynamic group of product designers, researchers, visual designers, industrial designers, modelers, and program managers. We work in close partnership with product and engineering to deliver best‑in‑class interactive experiences that meet the needs of people today, and in the future. We are looking for a program manager to support our final production ready design team. They will play a crucial role in enabling our design teams to rapidly validate, update, and iterate on production designs, ensuring quality handoffs to engineering. The ideal candidate will work under experienced Program Management team leadership to drive process improvements, manage timelines across multiple concurrent features, and utilize tools like Jira and Figma to maintain Ford’s high standards for digital excellence. They will leverage data and automation tools to monitor progress, identify trends and identify opportunities for designers across the organization. The position requires a blend of design sensibility and program management rigor to deliver with quality and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Specific tasks and responsibilities Maintain and improve the system for tracking and managing reviews of production designs for new features and changes to existing features Own and facilitate recurring and ad hoc meetings, ensuring correct participants, agenda and follow‑through Identify and implement improvements to the review process flow, leveraging automations and tools Manage delivery execution across multiple concurrent features and program Enforce protocols for Digital Product Design Figma files and Jira tickets, including hands‑on editing as needed Develop, maintain and share documentation for processes and tools Monitor progress against milestones and identify risks and slippage, escalating and coordinating re‑planning activities as needed Integrate trends and data, including cycle time and dependencies into plans, deliverables and recommendations Support analysis of cycle time and dependencies to inform planning Share knowledge and best practices with the design team Contribute to a culture of experimentation, innovation, and growth mindset Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree in industrial design, human centered design, product management, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) 3+ years experience working to develop and deliver design work alongside technical and design teams Proficiency in English (written and verbal) Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting the design‑to‑production handoff and ensuring design files are ready for engineering Experience with automotive digital design or other complex, industrial, or safety‑critical digital systems (e.g., aviation, energy) Experience with quality reviews Skills Proficiency with Jira Knowledge of Figma Knowledge of Airtable a plus Strong problem‑solving mindset with a bias toward action Clear, concise, written and verbal communicator Comfortable operating in complex, matrixed environments Excellent organizational and time‑management skills Passion for helping others and willingness to learn new things #J-18808-Ljbffr
