Position Summary The Intern, Medical Affairs reports to the Medical Affairs Director and supports the local medical affairs activities for the Ultragenyx portfolio of products, and helps manage medical affairs operations in the country. The role is ideal for someone who wants to learn about the rare diseases business, bring creative ideas, and gain experience while earning their degree. Work Model Flex: The role typically requires onsite work 2–3 days per week or more depending on business needs. Responsibilities Support planning and execution of Medical Plan, tactics, and activities in the country. Assist the Medical team to develop and track activities to maximize opportunities in key accounts (e.g., forms on time, letters to key decision makers, coordinate strategic agenda between KDMs and vendors, event planning, contracts, and execution). Prepare and follow up on KPIs for Medical. Negotiate with major medical societies together with medical affairs. Coordinate with local communication or travel agencies for medical events and promotional materials. Develop medical projects/plans under medical affairs supervision. Perform data analysis. Prepare reports and presentations for company needs. Support the team with daily administrative tasks. Requirements Student of Business Administration, Marketing, or Social Communication. Excellent communication skills and teamwork. Ability to learn quickly and process information. Organization and time‑management skills. Fluency in English. Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
