We are looking for a highly analytical and business-oriented Operations & Reliability Tech Lead to manage the infrastructure and operations strategy with a strong focus on high availability, scalability, resilience, and business continuity across cloud-native, hybrid, and on-premise environments within our Mobile Solutions team. As an Operations & Reliability Tech Lead, you will play a critical role in driving the operational lifecycle of production systems, supporting 24/7 reliability through automation, observability, proactive change management, and continuous operational improvement. What will you do? Contribute to leading the operational lifecycle of production services, ensuring high availability, resilience, and stability. Define and enhance metrics-driven monitoring, alerting, and observability to support proactive issue detection and 24/7 operations. Drive improvements in deployment strategies and runtime environments, including zero-downtime and multi-region architectures. Provide technical leadership during incident response and post-mortems, promoting a culture of continuous improvement. Develop and promote best practices for change management across diverse environments and teams. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, R&D, infrastructure, and business) to align operations with strategic priorities. Guide architectural enhancements across infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and service topology to boost efficiency and velocity. Evolve operational platforms with a focus on automation, self-healing capabilities, and testing in production. Help define a roadmap for operational maturity, incorporating continuous verification and scalable operational practices What are we looking for? Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecom, Information System or related field 7 years of experience in infrastructure, operations strategy or reliability engineering roles English Advanced English level Candidates must be based in Mexico City or surrounding áreas with availability to travel If you want this position to be yours, we would like you to have the following: Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Suite, internet navigators, Linux/Unix environments (Red Hat preferred), databases & SQL (PostgreSQL is a plus), networking principles, and programming skills. Familiarity with high-availability environments including load balancing, clustering, redundancy, fail-over strategies, and operational resilience patterns. Knowledge of integration protocols and technologies such as SOAP, XML, HTTP POST/GET, and SMPP connections. Strong understanding of cloud and hybrid/on-prem infrastructures (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm), CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD), observability frameworks (Prometheus, ELK Stack, Grafana, Datadog), and Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, Packer). Relevant certifications such as AWS/GCP/Azure Certified Solutions or ITIL Foundation are a plus.
