Your PositionMolex is seeking an NPI Manager to lead New Product Introduction (NPI) projects within the Connectivity and Optoelectronics business. In this role, you will guide cross-functional teams to ensure the successful launch of new products, from development through to full-scale production. By embedding quality into every launch and process, we proactively anticipate challenges and prevent issues before they enter the manufacturing phase, delivering greater value to our customers and partners.What You Will DoOwn end‑to‑end NPI execution for optical transceiver programs, from prototype builds to mass production. Drive program schedules, milestones, and deliverables across engineering, operations, supply chain, test engineering, reliability, and quality. Facilitate cross‑functional communication and ensure timely resolution of technical, operational, and supply‑related issues. Build and maintain manufacturing readiness plans (MRP) including process qualification, line bring‑up, equipment readiness, and operator training. Partner with process and test engineering teams to define assembly, alignment, calibration, and final test processes for new optical modules. Ensure Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Testability (DFT), and Design for Reliability (DFR) best practices are applied early in development. Lead yield‑ramp initiatives; identify root causes using structured problem‑solving tools (8D, DOE, FMEA, SPC). Work with reliability engineering to ensure modules meet Telcordia/GR‑468, IEEE, and internal qualification standards. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cost, increase throughput, and improve yield stability. Oversee creation and release of manufacturing documentation (BOMs, travelers, work instructions, test limits). Ensure compliance with internal quality systems (ISO9001, TL9000) and customer-specific requirements. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Optics, Materials Science, or related field. 7–10+ years of experience in optical transceivers, optoelectronics, or high‑volume photonics manufacturing. Proven track record leading NPI or manufacturing engineering for complex optical or electronic products. Strong understanding of optical module design (TOSA/ROSA, PICs, drivers, DSPs, packaging). Experience with reliability qualification, test development, yield improvement, and root‑cause analysis. Excellent cross‑functional leadership, communication, and project management skills.
