What's the role? About the team Internal Audit at HERE is a small, collaborative, forward‑looking team that supports business with clarity, confidence, and strong governance. The team works across functions and regions, providing independent practical insights that strengthen controls, enhance efficiency, and support strategic priorities. Senior Internal Auditor supports delivery of the internal audit plan by leading and executing audits across the organization. The role assesses internal controls, identifies improvement opportunities, and partners with stakeholders to promote a strong and adaptable control environment. Working closely with the Senior Manager of Internal Audit and the Head of Internal Audit, the role conducts walkthroughs, performs audit testing, evaluates control design and operating effectiveness, and contributes to internal audit initiatives, reporting, and high‑quality, timely audit execution. Who are you? An experienced internal audit professional with a solid understanding of risk management, internal controls, and governance. Experience in Financial, Operative and/or Compliance audits. Comfortable leading audit activities independently while collaborating closely with audit leadership. Able to work across multiple functions, regions, and cultures in a global organization. Skilled at conducting walkthroughs, testing controls, and evaluating design and operating effectiveness. Confident communicating audit findings clearly and constructively to stakeholders. Analytical and detail‑oriented, with the ability to translate data into practical insights. Comfortable maintaining independence while building trusted partnerships across the business.
