Job Description: Customs Coordinator The Customs Coordinator is responsible for coordinating customs personnel to achieve the department’s goals and metrics in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with current regulations and both authority and client requirements. This role also involves developing practices and procedures to improve control of the department’s activities. Responsibilities Coordinate import and export operations staff Coordinate fixed assets personnel activities Coordinate OEA-CTPAT personnel activities Support foreign trade projects Request and obtain government permits Monitor compliance of digital records/files Track OEA – CTPAT compliance Monitor fixed assets compliance Follow up on Annex 24 / 30 compliance Audit import and export processes Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Trade and Customs, International Trade, or a related field Bilingual (English – Spanish) 2 years of experience in a similar position 3 years of experience in the customs field Valid visa Knowledge of imports and exports Knowledge of Annex 24 and Annex 30 Knowledge of foreign trade Knowledge of fixed assets Knowledge of CTPAT and OEA Knowledge of audits Knowledge of digital records/files Knowledge of IMMEX and VAT/IEPS certification Knowledge of Foreign Trade Law Knowledge of Customs Law and General Foreign Trade Rules Knowledge of Zoe system Team management #J-18808-Ljbffr
