We are looking for anEHS Engineer with experience inEnvironmental, Health and Safety , focused on ensuring compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, and corporate requirements, while supporting operations through risk prevention, audit follow-up, implementation of controls, and promotion of a strong safety culture across the organization. Follow up on compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements related toEnvironmental, Health and Safety . Support the preparation, attention, and closure of audits fromSTPS, environmental authorities, customers, corporate teams, and other applicable agencies . Maintain required documentation updated for legal compliance, audits, and inspections. Perform safety walks and identify unsafe conditions or unsafe acts within operational areas. Follow up on corrective and preventive actions derived from audits, inspections, incidents, or internal findings. Support investigations of incidents, accidents, near misses, and risk conditions. Coordinate and follow up on safety, hygiene, occupational health, and environmental programs. Provide support to operational areas to ensure compliance with EHS controls. Promote a culture of safety, prevention, and compliance within the organization. Participate in training sessions, campaigns, brigades, drills, and other EHS-related activities. Follow up on proper waste management, permits, manifests, reports, and applicable environmental controls. Support the implementation and improvement of EHS procedures, work instructions, and internal controls. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably inIndustrial, Environmental, Chemical, Safety and Hygiene Engineering , or a related field. Minimum2 to 3 years of proven experience in a similar position . Knowledge of topics related toEnvironmental, Health and Safety . Knowledge and experience in compliance with applicable requirements from authorities such asSTPS , environmental agencies, and other applicable regulatory entities. Experience supporting, preparing for, and following up oninternal, external, and regulatory audits . Knowledge of risk identification, unsafe condition analysis, and follow-up of corrective/preventive actions. Knowledge of applicable regulations related to industrial safety, occupational health, and environmental compliance. Experience preparing, controlling, and following up on EHS-related documentation. Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, contractors, and authorities when required. Ability to work as part of a team, follow up on operational priorities, and resolve issues effectively. Proactive, organized, responsible, and able to work with a sense of urgency. Preferred / Plus: Knowledge of applicable Mexican Official Standards related toSTPS and environmental compliance. Experience in manufacturing industry, preferably aerospace, electronics, or maquiladora environment. Knowledge of waste management, chemical handling, environmental permits, civil protection, and brigades. Experience with customer, corporate, or regulatory audits. Knowledge of risk analysis, incident investigation, and corrective actions. Intermediate or advanced English. Knowledge of management systems such asISO 14001 orISO 45001 . #J-18808-Ljbffr
