This role focuses on the design, development, configuration, and support of the ServiceNow platform solutions that enable efficient service delivery and automation across the organization. The Junior ServiceNow Developer contributes to the implementation of platform capabilities under guidance, applying standard development patterns, security controls, and governance practices to ensure scalable and maintainable solutions. Working within an agile delivery model, this role supports continuous improvement initiatives by translating defined requirements into functional ServiceNow configurations and scripts. The individual is expected to develop a solid understanding of the Now Platform, including scripting, integrations, and workflow automation, while building technical expertise through hands‑on delivery and collaboration with senior developers and architects. Attention to detail, willingness to learn, and strong collaboration skills are essential, as this role partners with cross‑functional stakeholders to support platform enhancements and operational stability. The Junior ServiceNow Developer plays a key role in maintaining code quality, documentation, and post‑deployment support, ensuring that delivered solutions are reliable, secure, and aligned with organizational standards and user needs. Responsabilities Configure scoped applications and core GRC/IRM components (Risk, Policy & Compliance, Issues, Controls, Indicators) using best‑practice patterns, security controls, audit requirements, and data governance standards. Build and support integrations with upstream and downstream systems (e.g., data sources for risk indicators, evidence repositories) using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, and MID Server, ensuring secure, reliable, and auditable data exchange. Develop and maintain technical and functional documentation, including solution designs, configuration records, update sets, risk/control models, integration specifications, and deployment or support runbooks. Provide post‑deployment support for GRC/IRM solutions, including troubleshooting configuration or data issues, supporting audit activities, and implementing enhancements based on regulatory or stakeholder‑driven feedback. Maintain solution quality through peer reviews, adherence to ServiceNow SDLC practices, and compliance with release, deployment, and platform security requirements. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the ServiceNow GRC/IRM capability, including optimization of risk assessments, control testing workflows, compliance monitoring, and issue remediation processes. Develop automation and orchestration (flows, workflows, business rules, script includes, UI policies) to improve efficiency, accuracy, and consistency of risk, control, and compliance activities. Collaborate with GRC analysts, architects, and business stakeholders to support solution designs, delivery estimates, and the translation of risk and compliance requirements into implementable user stories. Research and support adoption of emerging ServiceNow GRC/IRM capabilities and platform enhancements, presenting options and recommendations to technical and non‑technical stakeholders as appropriate. Act with integrity and professionalism to support a strong risk‑aware, compliant, and respectful work environment.
