Location: Guadalajara, Mexico (Onsite – can work remotely but must be open to come to the office whenever needed) Hourly Rate: 32−32−36 USD per hour Language: Medium to Advanced English required Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join a fast-paced and high-performing Network Reliability Engineering team. The role focuses on delivering end-to-end global network services including Network Architecture, Solution Design, Engineering & Implementation, Network Security, Wireless & SD-WAN Technologies, Automation, and Infrastructure Reliability. The ideal candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders, global teams, and external vendors to design, engineer, test, and implement scalable enterprise networking solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, engineer, implement, and automate global network infrastructure. Support LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, SD-WAN, and Network Security environments. Develop and maintain high-quality network engineering documentation. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence. Collaborate with vendors and internal teams on strategic network solutions. Ensure adherence to enterprise technical standards and best practices. Support technical roadmaps and lifecycle management of network changes. Lead complex network transformation and implementation projects. Provide technical leadership across enterprise, security, and wireless domains. Required Technical Expertise Strong expertise in IP-based network architecture. Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP, Ethernet, OSPF, and BGP. Experience with Catalyst 9600 / 9500 / 9300 Ruckus ICX Switches SD-WAN and Software Defined Networking (SDN) implementation experience. Cisco Catalyst Center design and deployment. Load balancing experience using Citrix NetScaler. Proven experience leading complex network implementations. Network Security Experience designing and implementing enterprise security solutions. Strong understanding of Zero Trust architecture. Hands-on expertise with: Cisco StealthWatch & NetFlow Expert knowledge of Cisco Security products (ASA, FirePOWER, ISE). CCNP Security or CCIE Security certification required. Wireless Networking Expertise supporting Microsoft Teams over Wi-Fi. Hands-on experience with: Cisco & Ruckus Wi-Fi 6/7 Access Points Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers Ruckus SmartZone Wireless site survey expertise using: Required Certifications Enterprise: CCNP/CCIE Routing & Switching Enterprise: CCNP/CCIE Data Center Enterprise: CCDE (preferred) Security Certifications CCNP/CCIE Security CISSP (preferred) Wireless Certifications ECSE CWNE CCNP/CCIE Wireless Qualifications & Experience 5+ years of relevant network engineering experience. Strong experience in global enterprise network environments. Proven expertise in LAN, WAN, and Wireless technologies. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Industry-recognized certifications (CCNP/CCIE mandatory). Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Experience leading large-scale network transformation initiatives. Ability to work independently and in globally distributed teams. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills. Preferred Qualifications Master's Degree. ITIL Certification.
