Position Summary: The Legal & Compliance Manager, will lead and provide legal support to members of Manufacturing Plants, located at Rosarito, Baja California, as well as Salinas, Nuevo León, Mexico, with respect to Contract Management, Dispute Resolutions, Industrial Export Promotion Programs , Local External Lawyers Management, related with Operations, Sales, International Commerce, as well as Leading and Support Compliance and Legal Training, Litigation and Operational Legal issues throughout Manufacturing Plants located in Mexico, working closely with the Regional Head of Legal & Compliance. Role & Responsibilities: LEGAL MANAGEMENT : Contract review, template management, contract negotiation, compliance system maintenance, risk tracking LEGAL SUPPORT : Provide legal advice, support key decisions, assist HQ on IP management DISPUTE RESOLUTION : Handle litigation, arbitration, investigations EXTERNAL COUNSEL : Manage external lawyers and evaluate cost efficiency COMPLIANCE : Build compliance system, conduct risk assessment and remediation COMPLIANCE TRAINING : Provide company-wide compliance training Experience/Education Level/Degree: Law Degree Majored in Mexico, Bar licensed preferred 5+ years legal / compliance experience, 3+ years in manufacturing, Multinationals Corporations, Law Firm. Contract drafting, compliance system, litigation management. Integrity, cross cultural communication, strong judgement.
