Overview Ensure the conformity of materials received from suppliers through inspection activities, process approvals, deviation analyses, and technical validation, thereby safeguarding production flow and customer satisfaction. The Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) is responsible for ensuring that materials supplied to the plant comply with engineering specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements. The SQE executes technical activities such as PPAP reviews, root‑cause analysis, statistical analysis, metrology, supplier audits, and document verification. The SQE acts as a technical liaison between the plant and suppliers to prevent, contain, and eliminate quality defects in the supply chain. This position has a direct technical impact on the quality of products received from suppliers and their performance within the plant. Key Responsibilities Conduct technical analyses and validate documentary evidence. Issue reports and manage containment actions. Perform root‑cause analysis (5‑Why, Ishikawa, 8D). Conduct second‑party audits of suppliers. Apply AIAG core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC). Read geometric tolerances, cross‑sections and engineering notes. Perform metrology, R&R studies, sampling, and dimensional validation. Conduct statistical analysis: capability analysis, trend studies, SPC. Maintain QMS documentation: records control, releases, inspection plans, NCMR forms. Implement IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 requirements. Qualifications Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Materials Engineering background (or related field). Advanced English level. Strong knowledge of quality, data analysis, metrology, and manufacturing processes. Capability to interact with suppliers and internal teams. Hands‑on experience interpreting plans and core tools. Proficiency in GD&T, root‑cause analysis, metrology, SPC/MSA, PPAP. Microsoft Office proficiency. #J-18808-Ljbffr
