In this senior-level individual contributor role, you will lead the design, development, and deployment of intelligent systems that transform how users discover, understand, and engage with products, materials, and creative content. You will work at the intersection of AI, product, and design — building scalable, production-ready AI solutions that combine cutting-edge technology with exceptional usability, aesthetics, and performance. Your work will span multimodal search and understanding, AI-assisted content generation, intelligent workflows, personalization, creative tooling, and agentic systems. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and deploy end-to-end AI-powered product experiences from concept to production. Architect scalable AI systems leveraging LLMs, embeddings, multimodal models, retrieval systems, agent frameworks, and modern data infrastructure. Develop production-grade multi-agent workflows and orchestration systems using frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain, Mastra, and custom tooling. Build and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, including vector search, retrieval pipelines, chunking strategies, embeddings, and relevance tuning. Create multimodal AI workflows capable of analyzing and reasoning over images, creative assets, and visual datasets using modern multimodal LLMs and specialized tooling such as SAM2/SAM3. Develop AI-driven experiences for search, discovery, personalization, content generation, and creative workflows. Continuously evaluate and improve AI-generated outputs for quality, accuracy, tone, and creative alignment through testing, iteration, and human-in-the-loop evaluation strategies. Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Engineering, Data, and Executive Leadership teams to identify high-impact opportunities and transform ideas into scalable AI capabilities. Make architectural decisions that balance scalability, latency, accuracy, cost, maintainability, and user experience. Stay current with emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and workflows to identify opportunities that create meaningful business and user value. Qualifications 8+ years of experience building and shipping production software, including strong full-stack engineering expertise. Proven experience designing and deploying production-grade AI/ML systems and AI-powered product experiences. Deep hands-on expertise with LLMs, embeddings, multimodal AI systems, RAG architectures, and multi-agent frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain, Mastra, or equivalent tooling. Experience working with multimodal models, visual analysis systems, and image-based AI workflows at scale. Familiarity with modern image-generation tools and services. Strong systems‑thinking mindset with the ability to balance trade‑offs across performance, scalability, reliability, cost, and user experience. Demonstrated ability to independently take ambiguous problems from concept to shipped product with minimal oversight. Strong product instincts and a high standard for usability, craftsmanship, and visual quality in AI-driven experiences. Genuine interest in creative industries such as architecture, design, fashion, photography, media, or art. Open-source contributions, side projects, or publicly demonstrable AI work are strongly preferred.
