Eaton’s IS VEH EMB division is currently seeking a Sr. Trade Compliance Analyst (GTM). Eaton announced, on January 26, 2026, the intent to separate its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) into an independent, publicly traded company. We expect to complete the separation by the end of the first quarter of 2027. The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton's plans, programs and practices. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Mobility Group when the spinoff closes, the new company will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time. What You’ll Do This position is responsible for managing and complying with national and international customs laws and regulations, as well as interacting with Eaton's various Centers of Excellence and the VAT and GTM teams. Primary Function Responsible for supporting and properly managing the Global Trade Management (GTM) policies, procedures, and initiatives of the GTM Country Manager and ensuring compliance with government regulatory requirements and procedures. Submitting reports to customs authorities, such as the Monthly Report of Annex 30, INEGI Reports, Submaquila Reports etc. Ensuring that accurate information is entered and maintained in the customs inventory control system. Detecting, mitigating, and eliminating customs risks to avoid fines and penalties. Carrying out the monthly download process, determining root causes, mitigating risks, and staying within the KPIs established by the company. Maintaining control of the Eighth Rules, Prosec, and other tariff deferral programs. Maintaining the balance of monetary funds in the account for payment of customs duties. Assisting GTM operational positions with questions, procedures and process implementations. Closing the findings of GTM's bi-monthly customs audits. Ensuring the veracity of BOMs in the Annex 24 systems. Preparing, reviewing, and submitting Annex 30 reports. Administering, managing, and maintaining program and certification requirements related to Foreign Trade. Qualifications Preferred education level: Bachelor degree in Logistics, similar. Years and Area of Experience Required 3-5 years of experience in Foreign Trade, Logistics. English: conversational advanced. Technical Knowledge Extensive knowledge of customs and foreign trade laws, tariff deferral programs, sub-manufacturing processes, supply chain security programs (OAS, CTPAT), VAT certification, IMMEX, annex 24 & 30. Skills Soft skills: work under pressure, communication, teamwork, adaptability, problem-solving, self-directed, proactive, critical thinking.
