Position: Financial Analyst, FP&A – Shockwave Medical (Santa Clara, CA) Position Overview Part of the Global Operations Finance Team, reporting to the Finance Manager – Operations. Supports Santa Clara Operations and Facilities organizations. Essential Job Functions Lead rolling forecasts, annual budgets, and long-range forecasts for Santa Clara Operations and Facilities. Support senior business leaders with actuals; analyze variance, identify trends, and recommend actions to improve forecast execution and accuracy. Identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement. Collaborate cross-functionally to plan and execute initiatives. Perform monthly/quarterly close activities (accruals, variance analysis, reporting, and audit support). Apply Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives in day-to-day interactions. Other duties as assigned. Requirements/Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. 1–3 years of accounting, finance, or related business experience. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Ability to work independently; plan, prioritize, and communicate progress on multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with planning software such as Adaptive or Anaplan. Understanding of GAAP accounting and financial statements. Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with internal customers. Preferred Skills Analytical reasoning, budgeting, confidentiality, consulting, data savvy, econometric models, execution focus, financial analysis/data management/modeling/planning/reports, financial risk management (FRM), process-oriented, business behavior.
