Position Registered Nurse Job Type POOL / Non-Exempt Shift Details Shift Days - Shift Hours: As needed, Days or Nights, 7:00am-7:30pm or 7:00pm-7:30am Work Location Crisis - Ellendale RRC, 700 Main Street, Ellendale, DE 19941 Salary/Hourly Wage $40.00 - $43.00/hour Specialties / Licenses Or Certifications Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse State specific RN License Summary of Job The Registered Nurse (RN) position oversees the medical, psychiatric, substance abuse and nursing care for individuals served. The RN also serves as clinical liaison for designated individuals until they are enrolled in services at another community facility. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Guest Care & Advocacy Coordinates services with community health, mental health, and social service agencies to ensure appropriate services for individuals. Assists individuals with preparation and recording of the service planning process. Conducts assessments and treatment plans. Provides individual and family counseling. Participates in the development of educational curriculum. Supervises and/or provides nursing treatment and monitoring, such as diabetes and blood pressure. Responds to crisis calls for assessment and pertinent intervention as needed. Coordinates the relationship with outside medical and nursing support services including pharmacy and laboratory services. Compliance & Risk Management Administers medication as required by protocol. Completes clinical documentation as required. Keeps abreast of all federal and state regulations and laws and all Recovery Innovations policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified. Understands and adheres to Recovery Innovations compliance standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policies. Cross Functional Collaboration Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to continuously improve productivity, efficiency, recovery outcomes and medical care. Job Requirements Education / Licenses Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred. Valid and current state-specific Nursing license (Compact licensure preferred). Experience Minimum of one (1) year of experience working in a behavioral health setting. Skills Knowledge of psychiatric medications and their indications, common side effects, reactions and interactions. Basic computer skills. Attention to detail. Problem solving. Assessment and treatment planning. Verbal and written communication. Effective listening. Excellent documentation. Trauma Informed Care experience preferred. Bilingual preferred. Ability to pass de‑escalation training per state requirements. Driving Requirements If driving is required, meet all requirements outlined in Recovery Innovations’ driving policy. If not qualified to drive, a Non‑Driver Attestation form must be signed. Miscellaneous Requirements Travel required based on business need. Must be at least 18 years old unless state regulations allow lower age. Complete and meet the comprehensive credentialing process if applicable. Maintain confidentiality (HIPAA guidelines).
