About the Role Operations Associate, Data Calculations and Operations The Operations Associate will serve as a key player in ensuring the seamless onboarding and management and calculation of dynamic attributes, contributing to the overall data integrity and operational efficiency of the organization. The Team The Data-Cad team is responsible for calculating and managing the dynamic attributes in our inhouse data platform. Our team collaborates closely with other cross-functional teams, including index managers, R&D, commercial teams, and IT, to understand data requirements and ensure alignment with organizational objectives. GDB team is a part of the data output team which is a global team with members in New York and Beijing, managing the onboarding and setup of our datasets into Sprout. This team will work continuously to get all Data Users and Owners the raw vendor data they need. Responsibilities Review the equity fundamentals of a global universe of companies to facilitate the calculation of stock and index level fundamental ratios. Produce SPDJI universe level data calculation products. Assure service level agreements on data delivery of new product packages. Ensuring stewardship of our Standard Index data products and their sound distribution on our client‑facing data platform. Understand the dynamic attributes required by Index Management team for smooth running of the automated process of rebalance. Assist in building out the Dynamic Attribute calculation model to make sure efficient and correct output e.g. liquidity, momentum. Maintain the dynamic attribute data sets in the inhouse database – calculating the attributes at required frequency. Collaborate with team members to establish best practices. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or relevant field. Strong attention to detail and self‑motivated. Proficiency in working with spreadsheets and large amounts of data. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team. Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills. Preferred Qualifications Database management experience. Proficiency in Python and VBA. Snowflake. Proven experience in data validation, data quality assurance, or similar roles. Statistical models and data analysis methods. Working on end‑to‑end data science pipelines: problem scoping, data gathering, EDA, modelling, insights, visualizations, monitoring, and maintenance.
