Storage Administrator – L2 SKILLS 4-7 years of relevant experience on storage technologies such as HP 3PAR, Infinidat, NetApp, Brocade Switches, and management tools (BNA, OCI, Infinimetrics). Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and documentation skills. Certification in HP 3PAR technology. Willingness to work in a 24/7 environment with rotational shifts. Availability for on‑call duties as required. Experience identifying automation opportunities and scripting knowledge. Active participation in service‑improvement plans. Monitoring overall process functioning and identifying improvement areas. Basic knowledge of Solaris, Linux, and VMware. Required Technical Skills – Primary Hands‑on experience administering HP 3PAR, Infinidat, StoreOnce, and Brocade DCX switches, and using management tools (BNA, OCI, Infinimetrics). Hands‑on experience with NetApp C‑mode, NAS share creation, migration, Metrocluster, configuration, switchover/switchback, and snapshots. Configuration and management of storage pools, CPGs, virtual volumes, and snapshots. Expert knowledge of LSAN zones and routing. Capacity and performance management expertise. Experience with adaptive and dynamic optimization. Development of tiering policies for all hosts and configuration per standards. Design and implementation of SAN connectivity (single and dual chassis) with fiber‑channel switches to eliminate single points of failure. Performance tuning of 3PAR systems and storage‑based replication. Exposure to disaster‑recovery implementation and management. Experience in storage and fabric microcode upgrade activities. Excellent knowledge of configuring SAN fabric (Brocade 48K & DCX switches) and troubleshooting fabric‑related events. Preferred Technical Skills Prior experience working in a DevOps/Agile environment. Working knowledge of ITSM tools such as JIRA. Knowledge of cloud technologies like Azure or AWS.
