Overview We are seeking a WMS Implementation Consultant to lead warehouse system optimization and modernization initiatives for logistics and 3PL clients. You will act as the subject matter expert (SME) on leading WMS platforms such as Blue Yonder, Manhattan, or SAP EWM—driving system configuration, process improvements, and successful implementations. This is a fractional, high-impact role focused on delivering quick operational wins while building scalable warehouse capabilities. Responsibilities Assessment & Strategy Evaluate current warehouse operations, WMS setup, and pain points Provide actionable roadmap (quick wins + long-term improvements) WMS Implementation & Optimization Configure modules (receiving, picking, packing, shipping) Improve processes like slotting, cycle counting, and wave planning Support upgrades or new implementations System Integrations Integrate WMS with ERP, TMS, and automation systems Ensure EDI flows and data mappings are accurate Testing & Go-Live Lead UAT, define test scenarios, and support cutover Troubleshoot real-time issues during go-live Training & Adoption Train warehouse teams and create SOPs Drive adoption through hands-on support Continuous Improvement Analyze performance metrics (throughput, cycle time) Recommend enhancements using WMS capabilities Required Skills Strong experience with WMS platforms (Blue Yonder, Manhattan, SAP EWM, Körber) Deep understanding of warehouse operations (picking, inventory, shipping, etc.) Knowledge of integrations (ERP, EDI, automation systems) Ability to translate business needs into system configurations Preferred Experience 5+ years in WMS implementation or optimization Experience with 3PLs / distribution centers Proven impact (e.g., improved accuracy, reduced cycle time) Exposure to cloud WMS or automation systems What Success Looks Like Improved warehouse efficiency and accuracy Faster order fulfillment and reduced operational bottlenecks High adoption of WMS capabilities by operations teams #J-18808-Ljbffr
