Primary Purpose: The primary purpose of the Commercial Manager, LATAM is to build, scale, and lead ChemPoint's commercial presence across Latin America, with a primary focus on establishing and growing the business in Mexico. This role integrates sales leadership, strategic supplier development, and industry/portfolio management and requires a strong entrepreneurial mindset to create new processes, develop new customers, and establish new supplier partnerships in emerging or underdeveloped markets. What You’ll Do: • Leads the development and execution of ChemPoint’s commercial strategy for Mexico, including market entry planning, customer targeting, and supplier engagement models • Operates with an entrepreneurial, builder mindset, creating scalable commercial and operational processes, structures, and governance where limited infrastructure exists • Directly manages, coaches, and provides direction to a sales team of Account Executives and Market Developers located in Mexico • Establishes and advances strategic supplier partnerships; expands portfolios across product lines, applications, geographies, and customer segments • Builds and actively manages a robust pipeline of supplier, customer, and portfolio growth opportunities • Drives customer retention and new business development through hands on participation in strategic and first of kind deals • Recommends commercial strategies based on market analysis, financial performance, and supplier and customer insights • Partners cross functionally with Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Technology to enable growth and ensure end to end execution • Performs other related duties as required or requested What You’ll Need: • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four year institution or equivalent work experience required • 7+ years of experience across commercial leadership, sales, supplier development, or portfolio management in B2B environments • Demonstrated success building or scaling new markets, businesses, or commercial functions • Experience working across Latin American markets strongly preferred Specialized Knowledge and Skills: • Strong entrepreneurial drive with comfort operating in ambiguity and creating structure • Cultural agility; Spanish and English fluency strongly preferred • Experience and sound knowledge of using PC and Windows OS; database experience preferred • Knowledge and experience working with MS Office Suite, with strong Excel skills • Consultative selling skills • Exhibits versatility when interacting with customers, suppliers, and outsourced relationships • Effectively conveys ideas and concepts through multiple communication channels, including strong telephone skills • Strong problem solving and negotiation skills • Knowledge of pricing and marketing strategy • Ability to determine and establish appropriate collaboration and communication points across people, teams, and organizational relationships to achieve team advantages and customer focused solutions • Considers alignment of solutions with ChemPoint vision, values, and guiding principles • Aligns behavior and actions with ChemPoint culture by demonstrating energy, embracing change, promoting innovation, leading with courage, and maintaining a positive approach Where You'll Work: This is a hybrid role in Mexico City Pay and Benefits: The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
