Job Summary Under general supervision, the Senior Compensation Analyst utilizes specialized knowledge and skills to plan and execute varied assignments. These include compensation and financial analyses, research, design, communication, implementation, and administration of compensation programs, policies, and procedures for a region (Asia, Europe, or Americas). The incumbent assists with the evaluation, analysis, and administration of compensation programs that align with Corporate/Global Compensation & Benefits strategies while considering local laws, regulations, and market competitiveness to enhance business impact. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Respond to compensation-related inquiries and requests from internal customers, including Business Managers, Human Resources Generalists, Managers, and Recruiters. Complete and analyze regional market salary surveys. Assist with managing the third‑party relationship with selected global salary survey vendors, covering vendor selection, user access, global survey submission schedule, contract negotiations, and ongoing communication. Assist with the design, communication, and administration of local compensation policies and procedures that are compliant with local and regional laws and align with Global Compensation & Benefits policies, procedures, and strategies. Support base pay management initiatives and activities such as job design, analysis, competitive pay analysis, pay structure design, merit budget planning, and the design of tools for administering focal merit reviews. Provide consultation and recommendations on compensation for hires, promotions, and career development/lateral moves. Develop and facilitate compensation training programs to educate managers on the administration and interpretation of global pay policies and regulatory compliance, promoting a total rewards philosophy that attracts, rewards, and retains talented employees. Develop automated tools and processes to manage global compensation data and prepare compensation‑related reports as requested. Work with HRIS and IT staff to ensure the HRIS application meets compensation needs, is updated for job content, structure, salary ranges, etc., and assist with report compilation and data analysis. Gather data via HRIS queries and other sources to analyze existing compensation plans and financial and non‑financial metrics that influence these plans. Present recommendations and improvement opportunities. Research and develop financial and market competitive analysis for site selections, mergers & acquisitions, and other business initiatives. Display excellent customer‑service skills. Assist with the analysis and design of variable incentive programs, including bonus and long‑term incentive programs. Assist in research and analysis of assigned projects. Adhere to safety and health rules and regulations associated with the position and directives from the supervisor. Comply with all procedures within the company security policy. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Job Qualifications Knowledge Requirements Excellent verbal and written communication skills with all organizational levels. Ability to design compensation communications and present findings. Proficient in English (additional regional languages a plus). Strong organizational skills and proven ability to manage multiple priorities and people. Advanced analytical, consulting, and influencing skills, with a track record of identifying issues and formulating solutions. Advanced experience in Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and report‑writing applications is strongly preferred. Knowledge of SAP preferred. Advanced proficiency in Windows‑based applications (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint) required. Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and communicate about scientific or technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Capacity to interpret and respond to a variety of inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or business community members, ranging from straightforward to complex.
