Executes tactical work in indirect procurement – places POs, sets up suppliers, unblocks invoices & maintains automation for the countries he/she covers. Responsibilities Place purchase orders, track and expedite non‑catalog orders to meet internal customer requirements. Initiate supplier set‑up with Commodity Leader’s approval; ensure purchase orders are placed within 24 hours of requisition creation, monitor order progress, expedite critical orders, and reject non‑compliant requisitions. Deal with invoice discrepancies, immediately resolve all issues relating to invoices on hold, manage purchasing system alerts (e.g., invoice, quantity, etc.), and work closely with sourcing buyers and Commodity Managers by providing customer/supplier feedback and assuring compliance of order placement with the strategic supply base. Set up and maintain outline agreements, price lists, info records, catalogs, and purchase order releases. Ensure automation channels are correctly identified, implemented, and used. Conduct compliance checks and audits to ensure policies are being followed. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. 5+ years of experience in similar roles. Good technical knowledge of procurement/sourcing, planning, negotiations, and agreements/contract management. Advanced English proficiency. Excellent technical skills in SAP purchasing system. Preferred Skills Strong communication skills and a team player. Self‑motivated and capable of working to aggressive timescales. Good organizational skills with an ability to prioritize. Capable of problem solving. Ability to work in a matrix environment.
