Job Description HAM (Hardware Asset Management) Implement and configure ServiceNow HAM OOB processes end‑to‑end: procurement intake / ordering alignment, stockroom setup and inventory operations, asset allocation/deployment/assignment, maintenance / refresh, retirement / disposal. Configure and manage stockrooms, transfer orders, inventory movement, check‑in / check‑out and related inventory controls. Set up and govern hardware models, model categories, manufacturers and standardization rules. Ensure hardware asset records align with CMDB CIs (data quality, duplication controls, lifecycle alignment). Support operational readiness through runbooks, documentation and stakeholder training for asset teams. SAM (Software Asset Management) – OOB Implementation Implement and configure ServiceNow SAM OOB capabilities: software model/catalog setup, normalization concepts, entitlement tracking, license/compliance reporting. Build and govern the software catalog and maintain data quality for software models and discovery/inventory sources. Support implementation for Tier‑1 publishers such as Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, Adobe, IBM, including required configuration and compliance inputs. Integration & Technical Skills Experience integrating ServiceNow with SAM tools, endpoint management, mobile device management, procurement tools and other third‑party applications. Write JavaScript code following standards and write AngularJS widgets for the Service Portal. Build integrations using REST / SOAP API, OKTA / SSO; knowledge of MFT/SFTP, batch processing beneficial. Build transform maps and data migration; scripting in Java, Angular/JavaScript. Understand CMDB, Discovery, Asset management. Client‑side and server‑side Java scripting. Unit and regression testing, support UAT and production deployment. Areas of Expertise Define architectural and design level technical solutions aligned with business problems.
