Full-time Your tasks at AKG The Supplier Development Engineer is responsible for evaluating, selecting, developing, and monitoring the performance of strategic suppliers, ensuring compliance with quality, cost, delivery, capacity, and service (QCDCS) standards. The role ensures proper process implementation, introduces new suppliers, and conducts audits, risk analyses, and continuous improvement activities to strengthen the supply chain. The position coordinates component localization projects, material qualification, and technical development, ensuring that suppliers meet engineering specifications and customer requirements. What we require from you Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in supplier development, supplier quality, or supply chain. Solid knowledge of metalworking, basic manufacturing, and production processes (machining, stamping, casting, welding, aluminum/plastic injection molding, heat treatments, coatings, etc.). Experience with APQP, PPAP, FMEA (AMEF), 8D, SPC, control plans, and technical documentation. Experience evaluating production process capabilities and conducting supplier audits. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, tolerances, and technical specifications. Intermediate to advanced English for communication with international suppliers.
