Why CODEÉxitos Responsibilities Develop, enhance, and maintain plugins that integrate payment gateways, subscriptions, shipping services, and analytics with Shopware, Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, and PrestaShop Extend our ShopwareSquare Payment extension and similar projects—refactor, ship new features, and keep pace with platform releases Implement secure payment flows for cards, digital wallets, and recurring subscriptions in full PCI‑DSS compliance Create user-friendly admin interfaces within each e-commerce ecosystem Write comprehensive unit and integration tests, keeping CI pipelines green Produce developer-friendly documentation and release notes Monitor upstream APIs and platform changes; plan proactive updates to leverage new features Requirements Must-haves: Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field 3+ years of professional PHP development (8.2+) Production experience creating plugins or apps for at least one major e-commerce platform (e.g., Shopware, Shopify, WooCommerce) Solid grasp of secure coding patterns, tokenization, and PCI‑DSS guidelines Front-end proficiency (JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS) for responsive UIs Ability to write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and debug across environments Habit of staying current with platform updates to ensure compatibility and unlock new capabilities Strong communication skills in English and Spanish Comfortable collaborating within distributed, multidisciplinary teams Proactive, collaborative mindset Nice to have Experience building plugins across multiple platforms (Shopware6, Shopify Apps, WooCommerce, Magento2, PrestaShop) Knowledge of subscription / recurring billing logic and proration edge cases Familiarity with digital-wallet integrations (ApplePay, GooglePay) and 3-D Secure flows Experience with Square, Stripe, PayPal, or similar payment-gateway APIs Understanding of e-commerce business workflows and merchant needs CI/CD mindset—GitHub Actions, automated testing, and release pipelines Benefits Competitive salary in USD Equal Opportunity CODEÉxitos is an equal-opportunity employer.
