.NET Architect / Location: Mexico City About the Role: Join us as a hands-on Engineering Lead to rebuild a complex legacy financial platform from the ground up. This greenfield modernization project focuses on delivering a scalable, modular architecture with .NET backend, React frontend, SQL Server, and cloud (Azure/AWS) – setting the foundation for future AI-powered features. What You’ll Do: Lead a senior engineering team to deliver feature parity and modernize the platform end-to-end. Define and drive architecture decisions balancing quality, scalability, and speed. Collaborate closely with stakeholders through facilitated, dynamic workshops (JADx) to shape solutions. Implement AI-assisted development workflows using tools like GitHub Copilot or Cursor to boost productivity. Mentor engineers and maintain high standards in code quality, testing, security, and cloud deployment. Translate legacy system behaviors and business workflows into clean, modern implementations. What We’re Looking For: Proven hands-on leadership experience in .NET backend and modern frontend (React). Strong SQL Server skills and expertise in cloud platforms (Azure or AWS). Experience with modular, service-based architectures (including BFF patterns). Ability to lead teams working from high-level specs in an autonomous, collaborative environment. Practical use of AI-assisted engineering tools in real project delivery. Excellent communication skills in English. Bonus: Experience in financial services or rebuilding legacy enterprise applications. Familiarity with Joint Application Development (JAD) or similar collaborative discovery methods.
