Responsible for coordinating the Mexico accounting team to ensure accurate recording, analysis, and interpretation of financial information, as well as compliance with local tax and regulatory requirements and timely reporting to corporate. Main Responsibilities Oversee the accurate and timely recording of all company transactions. Perform monthly trial balance analysis to ensure accuracy and identify variances. Ensure proper accounting of payroll, depreciation, amortization, and cost of sales. Prepare and review financial reports (e.g., income statement by cost center, expense analysis). Coordinate the monthly closing process and ensure delivery of reports to Corporate by the third business day. Monitor CAPEX project accounting and ensure proper tracking and reporting. Coordinate fixed asset imports and proper accounting treatment. Ensure compliance with all tax and legal obligations (provisional payments, electronic accounting, informative returns, foreign investment reporting). Review and validate tax calculations, including provisional and annual tax returns. Coordinate with external advisors when required. Supervise proper documentation and safeguarding of accounting, tax, and administrative records. Coordinate internal and external audit processes. Ensure timely resolution of audit observations and implementation of recommendations. Collaborate with HR on payroll-related processes (IMSS, INEGI, ISN, audits). Provide support to other departments regarding accounting and financial matters. Identify process improvement opportunities and drive efficiencies in accounting and reporting processes. Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Experience: Minimum 5 years in a similar role Language: Advanced English (written and spoken) Strong knowledge of accounting processes and financial reporting Experience with ERP systems Knowledge of Mexican tax regulations (SAT, IMSS, ISN, etc.) #J-18808-Ljbffr
