Marelli Automotive Lighting designs, develops and integrates a wide and complete range of top‑notch solutions for external automotive lighting systems, as well as innovative sensors to support future ADAS/AD features including LiDAR‑sensor technology. Your Responsibilities will be: Oversee the availability, maintenance, and inventory of production tools and equipment. Work with engineers and technicians to identify and implement process improvements. Maintain accurate records of tool inventory, maintenance schedules, and operations. Assess and procure new tools and equipment based on production needs. Provide training and technical support to production staff on the proper use of tools. Identify and resolve tool‑related issues to minimize downtime. Liaise with various departments to ensure alignment and efficiency in processes. Ensure all tools and equipment comply with safety and quality standards. What Qualifications you will bring: Technical education or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role. Other skills that we would welcome: Knowledge of production processes and industrial tools. Strong problem‑solving and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in teams. Expectations from you in this position: Ensure the availability and optimal functioning of all production tools and equipment. Collaborate with teams to identify areas for process enhancement and implement solutions. Maintain precise records of tool inventories and maintenance schedules. Source and acquire tools and equipment efficiently to meet production demands. Provide clear and effective training to staff on tool usage and safety protocols. Quickly identify and resolve any tool‑related issues to minimize downtime. Ensure all tools and practices adhere to industry safety and quality standards. Work effectively with other departments to ensure process alignment and efficiency. Stay updated on industry trends and integrate new technologies or methods when appropriate. Anticipate potential challenges and take preemptive actions to address them.
