Job Overview Our client is seeking a Retention & Social Commerce Specialist to lead the development and execution of retention marketing initiatives across email, SMS, and social commerce channels. This role will focus on bringing email marketing fully in‑house, optimizing lifecycle campaigns in Klaviyo, building TikTok Shop into a scalable revenue channel, and implementing systems that convert social engagement into email subscribers and customers. The ideal candidate has strong experience in D2C growth marketing, with a hands‑on background in email marketing, influencer/creator partnerships, and social commerce platforms. This role requires a data‑driven mindset, cross‑functional collaboration, and the ability to build scalable systems that drive measurable revenue growth. Responsibilities Email & SMS Marketing Manage and optimize Klaviyo email flows and lifecycle campaigns Transition email marketing from agency support to fully in‑house operations Plan and execute weekly email campaigns aligned with promotional calendars and product launches Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, content, send times, and CTAs to improve performance Manage email list segmentation, deliverability, and hygiene Track and report on key metrics such as revenue attribution, open rates, click‑through rates, and conversions Collaborate with the ecommerce team to align retention strategy with broader growth initiatives TikTok Shop & Affiliate Revenue Manage and optimize the TikTok Shop storefront and product listings Monitor performance and implement conversion optimizations Recruit and onboard creators and affiliates for TikTok Shop partnerships Manage creator relationships and ensure consistent delivery of content and Spark Codes Track affiliate performance and optimize incentive structures Maintain a database of creators, performance metrics, and partnership status Social‑to‑Email Growth Strategies Implement and optimize ManyChat automations on Instagram and TikTok Develop social media campaigns designed to capture email subscribers Launch and test lead magnets such as giveaways, comment‑to‑DM flows, and contests Organic Social & Creator Strategy Collaborate with creative and operations teams to improve Instagram and TikTok posting strategy Identify high‑performing content themes and engagement tactics Support light design or editing work using brand templates when needed Track the impact of organic social content on brand awareness and website traffic Work closely with marketing, creative, and operations teams to align messaging across channels Share insights from organic and creator content with the paid advertising team Translate successful paid ad messaging into retention and email campaigns Ensure cohesive brand storytelling across email, social media, and paid marketing channels Qualifications, Skills and Key Competencies Required 3+ years of experience in retention, growth, or email marketing for D2C brands Strong hands‑on experience with Klaviyo (flows, segmentation, testing, reporting) Proven track record of improving email engagement and revenue performance Experience managing creator partnerships, influencer programs, or affiliate marketing Strong understanding of TikTok Shop and social commerce ecosystems Experience using ManyChat or similar automation platforms Familiarity with Spark Codes and whitelisting partnerships for paid ads Strong copywriting skills and experience using AI tools for marketing workflows Data‑driven mindset with the ability to analyze performance and optimize campaigns Preferred Experience working with beauty, wellness, or lifestyle brands Experience launching or scaling TikTok Shop from early stages Basic design or content editing skills (Canva, Figma, video editing) Previous experience transitioning marketing functions from agency to in‑house Work Style Self‑directed and comfortable working with minimal oversight Strong organizational and project management skills ROI‑focused with a strong understanding of revenue impact Adaptable and comfortable collaborating across teams Detail‑oriented with high standards for quality Ownership: Build email marketing and TikTok Shop channels from the ground up with complete execution autonomy Impact: Direct influence on revenue through retention and social commerce strategies Growth Opportunity: Join a fast‑scaling company where you’ll shape critical revenue channels during expansion Collaborative Team: Work directly with experienced Ecommerce Manager, Creative Strategist, and founders Flexibility: Remote‑first culture with focus on results over hours #J-18808-Ljbffr
