Functions and Responsibilities To report, analyze and explain variances monthly. To analyze and report all Ad Hoc reporting. Work Orders variances Analysis. Work Orders accounting close. CR’s reviews and approvals. Reconciliations. Method Projection (BVR). Method and method variances (Actual). Item changes approvals. Inventory Reserve schedule. Inventory Days (DOH, DOH Forward & Daily Cogs Avg. Last 3 months). LIFO. BOM Roll Up. To Roll Up Simulations. WIP Physical Inventory. Standard Cost Roll up. Financials. Labor Efficiencies Report. RGL (Inv, Bo, HC). Bas Variances by group. SOX (Production & Inventory). Analysis requested. Last 3 PO and Invoices prices by part number to purchasing. New product line, work centers department set up. Requirements Accountant/Business administration. 3-5 years of experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and proficiency in ERP systems. Advanced Excel skills required. Ability to perform detailed financial analysis, identify trends, and provide actionable insights. Experience in variance analysis is required. High attention to accuracy and ability to work with large data sets while maintaining data integrity. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-finance professionals. Proactive problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement improvements in cost control and operational efficiency. Experience with JDE and Microsoft 365 is preferred.
