The Role As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll bring advanced automation systems to life - programming, commissioning, and supporting high‑end robotics and logistics solutions across global customer sites. PLCs, robots, and automation software System commissioning and optimisation Customer-facing troubleshooting and support This is a role for someone who thrives on variety, problem‑solving, and international exposure. What You'll Be Doing Commission and support automation systems on‑site globally Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, and software issues Implement PLC/robot software modifications Perform preventive and corrective maintenance Support installation, wiring, and system testing Deliver training to customer teams Provide remote technical support when needed Produce service reports and documentation Identify opportunities to improve customer operations What We're Looking For Background & Experience Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, or Automation Engineering 3+ years' experience in industrial maintenance, commissioning, or programming Strong experience with: Siemens Step7 and/or Allen Bradley PLCs Fanuc and/or ABB Robots Technical Skills Industrial networks: Profibus, Profinet, Devicenet, AS‑i, Ethernet SCADA systems (e.g. WinCC, Intouch, VB.net) Basic knowledge of mechanical & pneumatic systems Mobility & Flexibility Willingness to travel internationally for extended periods Flexible to work evenings/weekends when required Personal Skills Analytical problem‑solver with strong perseverance Customer‑focused and results‑driven Excellent communication at all levels Structured, organised, and able to perform under pressure Strong team player Requirements Fluent English (minimum intermediate) Valid passport Driving license US visa (desirable) Based in or able to relocate to Queretaro What We Offer Competitive salary: 30,000 - 33,000 MXN gross/month (depending on experience) Travel expenses covered Benefits above statutory requirements Continuous technical training and development A collaborative, multicultural work environment Exposure to cutting‑edge, global automation projects Why Join CSi?
