MICROMETALS Mexicali, Magnetic Core Solutions, Parque Industrial The Manufacturing Engineer II provides advanced manufacturing process support, documentation, and continuous improvement leadership within the production environment. This role operates with increased technical autonomy and is responsible for driving measurable operational improvements in metal‑mechanical manufacturing processes. The position works closely with production teams and senior management, supports ISO based quality systems, and interacts regularly with international teams to ensure alignment with global manufacturing standards. Must speak intermediate to advanced Mandarin. 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering roles. Key Responsibilities Provide advanced technical support to manufacturing operations and ensure process stability. Troubleshoot complex process deviations and recurring production issues. Support powder compaction using high‑tonnage presses and surface finishing processes (powder coating and paint). Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, control plans, PFMEAs, and process flow diagrams. Lead Lean / Six Sigma improvement projects with validated cost savings applied at Micrometals Mexicali. Support ISO-based quality management systems (ISO 9001) and participate in internal and external audits. Collaborate cross‑functionally with Manufacturing, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering teams. Support training and coaching of junior engineers and production personnel. Education & Experience IDIOMA: mandarín inglés intermedio 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering roles. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Required Qualifications Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma Green Belt certification. At least one validated improvement project with documented cost savings implemented at Micrometals Mexicali. Strong experience in process documentation and shop floor support.
