Role Summary As a Supply Chain Specialist Ancillary Equipment, you will ensure satisfactory performance and risk management of goods and services to Flowserve from your assigned suppliers. Your primary focus is to confirm that these suppliers meet required standards in quality, delivery, risk, and competitiveness while minimizing overall account risk. You will act as a supplier base expert within your region, supporting business needs and serving as a conduit between business and global functions. Responsibilities Overall account management for the assigned suppliers, including: Monitoring supplier performance – competitiveness, delivery, quality – and implementing corrective actions when performance falls below acceptable standards. Monitoring supplier health and risk, including capacity and financial solvency, advising appropriate internal actions and working with suppliers on mitigating actions as necessary. Facilitating supplier root‑cause correction actions to address systemic performance issues. Coordinating with suppliers on escalations and risks raised through the appropriate escalation channels. Collecting required data for reporting and regulatory filing needs. Supporting the business with any supplier claims related to warranty, damages, etc. Preparing, chairing, and ensuring follow‑up to actions/MOM in periodic supplier business review meetings. Monitoring supplier spend against AVL and roadmap set by Category Management. Conducting periodic reviews with Supplier Performance Group and Category Management on supplier performance reports. Operating in full compliance with all Flowserve policies and procedures applicable to the role. Main Objectives Supplier OTD Supplier PPM Contractual coverage Commercial terms Supplier risk On‑time data capture Requirements Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, supply chain or related field. 5+ years of experience in supply chain or procurement. Strong interpersonal relationship management skills. Demonstrated understanding of commercial and technical supply‑chain aspects. Expertise in MS Office and Power BI with strong analytical skills for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data. Ability to influence, communicate, and collaborate at all organizational levels. Solid understanding of procurement, sourcing, and category‑management methodologies. Good project‑management skills and ability to work under pressure across different time zones (a plus). Very good commercial acumen and negotiation skills. Knowledge of procurement in at least one of the following item groups: controls, electronics, instrumentation & IoT items, carbon and ceramic parts, elastomers, gaskets, o‑rings, bellows, plastic components, C‑items (hardware, fasteners). Preferred Change‑management experience. Certified Supply Chain Professional. Geographic mobility for development opportunities. Knowledge of SAP and sourcing tools such as Ariba. Knowledge of regional supply base for the assigned categories. Strong knowledge of PCBA, semiconductors, and EMS supply base (a plus). EOE including Disability/Protected Veterans.
