To ensure the reliability, availability and safety of plant assets (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, buildings and services) through the correct implementation of preventive and corrective maintenance programs, compliance with ISO 9001, 5S standards, Comprehensive Responsibility and Mechanical Integrity, as well as the efficient management of resources, personnel and projects, contributing to operational continuity, product quality and the safety of people. Main responsibilities Lead and manage the Maintenance, Projects, and Services departments, ensuring the efficient use of resources and the reliability of production processes. Coordinate with Production and Quality to identify and control equipment and instruments that impact product quality, maintaining up-to-date lists of critical equipment (CEE). Plan and coordinate scheduled plant shutdowns, optimizing time, resources, and work execution. Supervise the productivity, safety, and quality of the activities of maintenance, projects, and services personnel. Manage and monitor the department's budget, including monthly performance reports, budget execution, and progress on audits and quality systems. Ensure compliance with the preventive, corrective, and mechanical integrity maintenance program, including root cause analysis for recurring failures. Schedule and control activities related to ISO, 5S, customer audits, PSM, and calibrations, maintaining equipment records and histories. Prepare, update, and monitor maintenance procedures and work instructions. Develop personnel through technical training, safety training, and regulatory compliance. Manage and implement Capital and Maintenance Projects, assigning responsibilities and reporting progress. Authorize or reject work, practices, materials, spare parts, and working conditions related to internal and external maintenance.
