Zurich Capability Center is looking for: We are seeking an experienced Azure API Developer with approximately 4 years of hands‑on experience in designing, developing, and managing APIs within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in API development, cloud‑native architectures, and integration patterns, working closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable and secure solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, deploy, and maintain RESTful APIs using Microsoft Azure services. Build and manage APIs using Azure API Management (APIM) . Develop backend services using .NET / JAVA Integrate APIs with cloud and on‑premises systems. Ensure API performance, scalability, monitoring, and security best practices. Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, and product teams. Write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues. Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement. Required Skills & Qualifications 4+ years of professional experience as an API or Backend Developer. Strong experience with Microsoft Azure , including: Azure Logic Apps (nice to have) Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles . Experience with authentication and security standards (OAuth 2.0, JWT, Azure AD). Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions). Experience with source control systems (Git).
