Create magical memories as hearts beat to the rhythm of Mexican music, art and culture – embraced by the warmth of our Four Seasons “familia.” Role of Head Mixologist Is responsible for the overall leadership, development, execution, and continuous improvement of the hotel’s cocktail and bar beverage program with a focus on the hotels unique concept of Sora. This role ensures that all bar experiences consistently meet the hotel’s luxury service standards while supporting financial objectives, brand identity, and guest satisfaction. The Head Mixologist works in close collaboration with the Director of Food & Beverage, Director of Restaurants, Bar Managers, Culinary leadership, and Events teams to deliver innovative, profitable, and world‑class beverage experiences across all outlets. Knowledge And Skills Minimum 2 years of experience in high‑end or luxury bar operations, with demonstrated leadership responsibilities. Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in English and Spanish language. Proven experience developing and executing elevated cocktail programs in luxury hotels, resorts, or fine‑dining environments. Advanced knowledge of spirits, cocktails, wine, beer, and current beverage trends. Knowledge of food & beverage service, cost control, labor control, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting. Exceptional mixology and beverage craftsmanship. Strong leadership and organizational skills. Guest‑centric mindset with attention to detail. Ability to perform in a fast‑paced, luxury service environment. Professional presentation and communication skills. Requires ability to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems. Essential Functions Lead the hotel’s cocktail and bar program, ensuring quality, consistency, and brand alignment. Develop and maintain menus, recipes, presentation standards, and service rituals. Oversee bar execution with Bar Managers, ensuring operational excellence and luxury service standards. Manage beverage cost, inventory, waste, and menu profitability. Recruit, train, and develop bar teams; lead ongoing technical and service training. Deliver elevated guest experiences and represent the beverage program for VIPs, events, and activations. Ensure compliance with alcohol regulations, safety standards, and company policies. Be present in the operation, provide recognition, promote good public relations.
