JOB SUMMARY The Master Planner will be responsible for leading and managing all planning activities for the Siemens program in Virginia, ensuring alignment between customer demand, production capacity, and material availability. This role will support the ramp‑up phase and transition into mass production, playing a critical role in establishing a robust planning strategy and execution framework. The position requires strong expertise in S&OP processes, demand management, and ERP systems, along with the ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams and communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Lead all planning activities for the assigned workcell supporting the Siemens program, ensuring readiness for production ramp‑up and mass production. Ensure on‑time delivery performance by aligning demand, material availability, and production capacity. Develop, manage, and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) in SAP, ensuring it is accurate, achievable, and aligned with customer demand and purchase orders. Drive S&OP processes using tools such as Rapid Response to ensure proper demand and supply alignment. Perform material sizing (MCP) and capacity planning to support production requirements and prevent constraints. Analyze and manage CTS/CTB (Clear to Ship / Clear to Build) to identify and mitigate risks related to material shortages and production readiness. Monitor and manage material liability and assess the impact of demand changes on supply chain and production plans. Ensure proper BOM structure, routing accuracy, and system integrity to support efficient production execution. Collaborate with purchasing, operations, and business units to resolve shortages and ensure alignment with the build plan. Maintain accurate revenue forecasting and ensure alignment with customer demand and production output. Communicate effectively with the customer (Siemens), internal stakeholders, and cross‑functional teams to support operational needs and escalations. Support ramp‑up activities, ensuring smooth transition from initial production (50% allocation) to full‑scale mass production (100%). Identify risks and drive mitigation plans to prevent production delays and ensure continuity of supply. Adhere to all safety, compliance, and company policies. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in production planning, supply chain, or manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred) and planning tools such as Rapid Response. Experience in demand management, material and capacity planning, and S&OP processes. Solid understanding of BOM structures, lead times, and production workflows. Experience managing CTS/CTB processes and material liability. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
