We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP S/4HANA Consultant specializing in the Sales and Distribution (SD) module to join our team and play a pivotal role in a complex, global S/4HANA migration. This role demands a strong command of SAP SD processes, integration expertise, and the ability to lead functional teams within a high-intensity, global environment. Responsibilities Lead the functional SAP SD team, ensuring smooth integration across global initiatives Guide the shift from ECC practices to S/4HANA-based best practices, simplifications, and standardized global templates Oversee the transition from SAP GUI transactions to modern Fiori role-based user experiences Ensure SAP HANA-enabled capabilities like real-time ATP, optimized pricing, and embedded analytics are embedded in solution design Define precise functional specifications for ABAP developments and validate testing outcomes Oversee end-to-end integration of SAP SD with other modules like MM and FI Align functional scenarios with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) integration strategies Provide expertise on the use of tools such as SAP Readiness Check and ABAP Test Cockpit (ATC) to identify and address functional impacts Ensure clean core strategies by advocating the use of standard SAP extensibilities and released APIs Act as a key leader in managing data readiness, process remediation, and business change impacts during S/4HANA global or regional deployments Collaborate with technical and integration teams, demonstrating a functional understanding of iFlows, API-based communication, and integration protocols like IDocs and BAPIs Monitor SD process integrity and compliance with global standards through governance frameworks like gCTS Requirements Minimum of 3+ years of experience in the SAP ecosystem with a strong focus on the SD module and end-to-end commercial, logistics, and billing processes Proven success in at least one full-lifecycle S/4HANA large or global migration project (Brownfield, Greenfield, or Selective Data Transition) Deep experience in manufacturing industries such as building materials or mining with knowledge of SD interaction with supply chain and logistics execution Expertise in Fiori-driven functional design and SAP HANA capabilities including real-time ATP, pricing optimization, and embedded analytics Functional–technical literacy to collaborate with ABAP development teams and review technical deliverables Proficiency in S/4HANA migration tools and methodologies including Migration Cockpit, Readiness Check, and staging table-based data loads Competency in SAP integration and extensibility frameworks such as OData, SAP BTP, and Event Mesh Familiarity with legacy integration protocols including IDocs, RFC, and BAPIs Certification in relevant SAP modules or S/4HANA transformation solutions English proficiency at B2 level or higher We offer International projects with top brands Work with global teams of highly skilled, diverse peers Employee financial programs Paid time off and sick leave Upskilling, reskilling and certification courses Unlimited access to the LinkedIn Learning library and 22,000+ courses Global career opportunities Volunteer and community involvement opportunities EPAM Employee Groups Award-winning culture recognized by Glassdoor, Newsweek and LinkedIn #J-18808-Ljbffr
