As we continue to improve and expand our manufacturing efforts, we are seeking a dedicated and organized Design Engineer to join our growing team in Tijuana, Baja California. This role involves predominantly utilizing SolidWorks, and in some instances AutoCAD, OnShape (or equivalent software) to develop and maintain fabrication drawings, submittal drawings, and models. You’ll work with team members to resolve design details, document changes/releases, and organize workflow through project completion. As part of a company in a high-growth phase, like a startup, the ideal candidate must be highly adaptable and willing to take on multidisciplinary roles. Should be exceptionally organized and capable of setting up efficient systems and processes from the ground up, tailoring them to meet the evolving needs of a company that is still developing its foundational structures. This role is critical for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, driving change and innovation to achieve strategic objectives. Responsibilities Prepare drawing packages and documentation for release according to schedule Design and detail concurrently with other team members, effectively coordinating on projects Strong & close communication with USA Design team, MX Production, QA, Supply Chain and Engineering peers Maintain accurate records of document releases, design changes, and other related details for future reference Requirements Proficiency in SolidWorks (some AutoCAD preferable) & PC Software Minimum of 3 years of related industry experience (BIM, Architectural or Industrial Design, Construction) or a related Technology Diploma/Certification or degree Team player with attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a desire to learn Must be living in or able to work permanently near San Diego, California (this is an in-office position; the candidate must report to the office daily) Experience with Inventor, OnShape, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite is an asset Excellent Customer’s Attention & Service attitude #J-18808-Ljbffr
