Senior Finance Analyst (SFA) Meaningful Work From Day One: The Senior Finance Analyst (SFA) serves as the Subject Matter Expert for the General Ledger (GL) master data components and hierarchies (account-cost center-territories and profit centers). The SFA manages the month-end close cycle related to cost center and assessment processes. The position routinely interacts with internal and external business partners in helping resolve complex master data General Ledger issues, and coordinates with the Manager of Consolidation Accounting to ensure cost center accounting balance during the month-end close. Responsibilities Ownership of the month-end close accounting activities, including close out of cost centers and assessment cycles, and balancing of FI to PA consolidation. Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for GL master data components and SAP functionality, including GL accounts, cost centers, territories, derivation rules, hierarchies, and assessments. Help develop and implement the use of global standard workflows to regulate the change, creation, extension, and extinction process for GL master data components. Manage semi-annual change cycles for cost center and territory hierarchies. Establish an ongoing continuous improvement culture and practices in the area of GL Master Data. Recommend ways to strengthen data integrity, quality, and availability across the enterprise. Identify and implement process improvements and productivity automation in relation to GL master data processes. Conduct testing and system validation to troubleshoot issues related to GL master data management and systems. Provide training and support on GL master data processes to local market users. Actively oversee standardized and complete GL master data pertaining to Route To Consumer market initiatives. Proactively ensure GL master data components meet evolving business and local country requirements. Coordinate with Payroll and HRIT, including ledger periods, fiscal periods, general ledger accounts, and pay codes mapping with the GL Coordinates monthly payroll file load from Workday to SAP for US companies. Analyze and reconcile payroll accounts, manage fiscal year-end closing reporting, post payroll to SAP Financials, and respond to inquiries on payroll labor expense and cost center reporting. Ensure appropriate documentation for all key data processes and local country requirements. Maintain professional and effective communication with internal and external customers and stakeholders. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree, preferably in accounting, finance, business administration, or systems experience. 5 to 7 years of master data management system, general ledger focus. Proficiency in Microsoft Applications with an emphasis in Excel, Word, and Access. Exceptional Customer Service skills and a high level of professionalism and courtesy in diverse situations. Strong intellectual curiosity, problem‑solving, and conceptual skills. Superior attention to detail with top‑notch accuracy. Ability to work independently and execute responsibilities with planning, organization, and accuracy in a high‑volume, deadline‑oriented environment. Strong analytical skills with the ability to research, analyze, and resolve complex business situations. Strong written and oral skills; communicate in a precise and clear manner. Self‑motivated with critical attention to details, deadlines, and reporting. Solid process understanding and process improvement concepts. Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as internal and external clients. Strong sense of accountability and ownership, and attention to detail. Proficiency in English (spoken and written). Prior Accounting/Master Data experience with SAP. Professional certification, such as CPA and/or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP). Prior experience in a global environment.
