Job Title: Senior Associate – Cloud Administrator & DevOps (4–7 Years) Help us design, automate, and scale secure, high‑performing AWS platforms that power mission‑critical applications. As a technical SME, you’ll lead complex cloud builds, modernize CI/CD, harden security, and drive reliability across our environments. You’ll partner closely with application, security, and network teams while owning L3 incidents and ITSM excellence. What you’ll do Design and build scalable, secure AWS foundations: multi‑account patterns, VPCs with transit gateways and PrivateLink, hybrid connectivity, IAM baselines, key rotation, secrets management, OS/VM hardening. Optimize platform performance: autoscaling, load balancers, caching (Redis/ElastiCache), and distributed system patterns. Lead DevOps and automation: architect CI/CD with automated tests, security scans, artifact reuse, environment promotion, and canary/blue‑green deployments. Build reusable IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation) modules with guardrails; implement GitOps workflows (ArgoCD/Flux where applicable). Reduce toil by 50–70% through automation using Python, PowerShell, or Shell. Own Kubernetes/EKS: node groups, cluster upgrades, CNI networking, RBAC, pod security, logging; implement ingress/service mesh patterns and troubleshoot performance (CPU throttling, OOM, DNS, scaling). Drive observability and reliability: define SLI/SLOs, build actionable dashboards, tune alerts, lead L3 incident response and post‑incident reviews; perform capacity planning and chargeback modeling. Integrate security and compliance: GuardDuty, Inspector, CloudTrail, KMS, WAF; remediate cloud vulnerabilities, manage certificates, and enforce secure pipelines (code quality, dependency scanning, secrets). Elevate ITSM: design/document changes, lead RCAs and present findings, enforce SLAs/KPIs (availability, deployment frequency, change success rate, MTTR), and maintain runbooks, diagrams, and automation playbooks. Collaborate and mentor: act as SME for Developers, Data, Security, and Infrastructure; mentor Associates; contribute to roadmaps, architecture reviews, and environment modernization. What you’ll bring 4–7 years of hands‑on experience in cloud engineering and DevOps, with deep expertise in AWS. Strong Infrastructure as Code skills (Terraform and/or CloudFormation). Proven CI/CD experience (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps) and deployment strategies (blue‑green, canary). Proficiency in Python and/or PowerShell/Shell for automation. Production experience with Kubernetes/EKS and container networking/security. Solid networking fundamentals (VPC, TGW, routing, DNS) and security by design (IAM, encryption, secrets). Experience operating under ITSM processes, leading L3 incidents, change management, and RCAs. Clear communicator who can influence, document, and mentor across teams. Education Bachelor’s degree required. Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred. Certifications None required. Nice to have: AWS Solutions Architect (Associate/Professional), HashiCorp Terraform Associate, CKA/CKAD, and other DevOps certifications. Why you’ll love it here High ownership and impact as a technical SME on modern AWS, Kubernetes, and DevOps stacks. Work across the full platform lifecycle—from design and automation to reliability and security. Collaborate with strong application, security, and network teams while mentoring others and growing your leadership. How to apply Apply with your resume or LinkedIn profile and a brief note highlighting your most complex AWS/Kubernetes build or automation you’re proud of.
