CAD Staff Engineer/Verification Engineer Micron Technology is a global leader in memory and storage solutions, pioneering technologies that transform information into intelligence. As a CAD Staff Engineer/Verification Engineer, you will join a collaborative team that works across the world with Micron’s design and verification groups. You will support design‑verification flow development, optimization, and implementation, ensuring the best cost, quality, reliability, time‑to‑market, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Develop tools, flows, and methodologies to increase productivity and reliability of Memory designs. Integrate commercial EDA tools into design flows. Provide training, documentation, and support to end‑users on new tools and methods. Collaborate closely with design, layout, verification, and process teams. Track and troubleshoot issues. Identify deficiencies in current tools and flows. Propose and define improvements for efficiency and cost. Maintain and support the engineering infrastructure. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field. 8+ years of relevant verification engineering experience, including over 3 years in digital (Verilog), analog (FastSpice), or mixed‑signal verification (co‑sims or real number modeling). Strong programming fundamentals with Unix and shell scripting experience. Experience with design simulation tools and languages including Verilog, VCS, Spice/FastSpice, FineSim/PrimeSim, and HSPICE. Ability to work independently with good verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience, with more than 5 years in verification engineering roles.
