Role and Responsibilities FP&A Senior Analyst within Global Business Services (GBS). Responsibilities include overseeing a small financial planning & analysis team, recording, compiling, and analyzing financial information, developing integrated revenue and expense analyses, projections, and reports, managing capital project transactions, monitoring project spending, and measuring financial returns on projects. Accountabilities Establish and maintain a stringent control environment aligned with internal control framework and global policy. Lead analysis of financial data, extract insights, and assess company performance (revenue, margins, expenses, CAPEX). Collaborate with departments to collect data, standardize reporting, and ensure unified understanding of key metrics. Conduct financial variance analyses and provide detailed interpretations for management decision-making. Prepare presentation materials for board and investor relations, ensuring clarity and consistency. Engage in special projects requiring financial analysis and additional reporting responsibilities. Delegate recording of transaction associated with capital projects, maintaining comprehensive records for analysis. Evaluate project progress and fund investments to ensure alignment with financial goals and timelines. Compare actual expenditures to budget to maintain financial discipline throughout the project lifecycle. Observe and track significant long-term investments to identify trends and inform future decisions. Present project status to Finance leadership, ensuring alignment with organizational strategies. Train, mentor, and assess performance of planning & analysis staff. Foster and maintain strong relationships with team members and internal stakeholders. Qualifications and Experience Essential: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. 4–7 years of relevant experience in management reporting, capital planning, or financial management. Detail-oriented and able to work under tight deadlines in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Strong leadership and communication skills. Quick learner of technology and coachable. Preferred: Master’s degree or Chartered Accountant designation. Technical Skills and Knowledge Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with Oracle ERP Suite and HFM consolidation tool. Solid understanding of management reporting and capital planning best practices. Languages Mexico: Fluency in English and proficiency in Spanish, both spoken and written, is required.
