Production Manager – Assembly and Welding Location: Arteaga, COA, MX, 25350 – Mexico Employment Type: Salary As Production Manager, you will be responsible for creating the production strategy to fulfill production programs in a timely manner, achieving safety, quality, delivery, and cost KPIs. Safety is the top priority, and you will maintain order and cleanliness while supporting initiatives and systems across support areas. Responsibilities Active participation in improving the financial results of the plant Plant efficiency and productivity improvement Manage department resources such as personnel and budgets Implementation and monitoring of the best manufacturing practices in the plant Compliance with safety and hygiene rules and regulations; active participation in audit procedures Develop and mentor the work team Maintain a positive work environment that encourages employee retention Model Behaviors and Leadership style according to Lear Leadership Model Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams during plant launches Skills Cooperation Analytical Skills Root Cause Analysis Kaizen Methodology Education Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Experience Requirements +3 years of experience in the automotive industry in a similar role Strong experience working with welding lines, assembly, and desirable painting lines Strong knowledge of customer requirements, CQI15, CQI12 Leadership, proactive, results‑focused Strong interpersonal communication and listening ability Competent in problem‑solving tools such as 8D methodology Knowledge of IATF Fluent English Certifications / Licenses None listed.
