This position is pivotal in shaping the company’s financial strategies and long-term objectives. Under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), this position acts as a senior individual contributor with exposure to financial leadership and commercial/operational stakeholders. The role functions as a financial business partner responsible for transforming financial, operational, and commercial information into actionable analyses for decision-making. In our loyalty consulting firm, the position operates as a strategy planner role that integrates financial and operational data for New Business Development and business unit performance evaluations, explaining variances and enabling commercial decisions. This includes connecting budget, forecast, profitability per client/project, utilization, pricing, talent capacity, and operational efficiency, ensuring traceability, analytical rigor, and executive communication. The role requires an understanding of revenue models based on hours, rates, projects, retainer, success fees, licenses, managed services, or mixed schemes, translating the commercial strategy into budget, forecast, capacity planning, and margin goals while mitigating early deviation risks. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Planning and Forecasting: Coordinate and execute annual budget cycles, rolling forecasts, reforecasts, and long-range planning for assigned business units or regions. Financial Modeling: Build driver-based models connecting revenue, pricing models, headcount, utilization, rates, delivery costs, SG&A, CAPEX/OPEX, and cash implications. Scenario Analysis: Prepare base, optimistic, downside, and sensitivity scenarios for rates, capacity, exchange rates, salary inflation, backlog, and pipeline. Executive Reporting: Prepare monthly and quarterly packages (P&L, bridge analysis, variances, KPIs, trends, risks, and recommended actions) for the CFO, executive leadership, steering committees, or board packs. Performance Analysis: Analyze variances versus budget, forecast, and previous periods, explaining root causes, impacts, and suggested actions. KPI Monitoring: Monitor financial and operational KPIs: revenue growth, gross margin, EBITDA contribution, utilization, billable hours, Investment Assets, rate realization, project margin, SG&A ratio, working capital, and DSO. Business Partnering: Act as a financial partner to Business Unit leaders and practice leads, building and evaluating business cases, pricing, account expansion, new practices, talent investment, outsourcing, and make-or-buy decisions. Resource Optimization: Generate actionable recommendations to improve profitability, efficiency, pricing discipline, and resource allocation. Margin Control: Analyze margins by project, client, contract, country, and service line, identifying deviations due to changes in scope, staffing mix, or cost overruns. Pricing Strategy: Support the definition of rates, discounts, pricing floors, standard costs, markups, and contribution models. Data Consistency: Validate consistency between hours, billing, recognized revenue, direct costs, and provisions. Automation and BI: Design scalable dashboards and reports in QuickSight, advanced Excel, Power Query, SQL, or EPM tools. Data Governance: Improve the quality, traceability, and governance of financial data, reducing manual processes and recurrent reconciliations. Advanced Analytics: Drive automation, analytics, predictive models, and the responsible use of AI for forecast accuracy and insight generation. Control and Compliance: Ensure consistency between management reporting, GL, accounting close, revenue recognition, and internal policies, coordinating with accounting, tax, treasury, and operations to explain closing impacts. Documentation: Document assumptions, criteria, data sources, and key reconciliations for internal/external audits and control reviews. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related quantitative fields. Desirable certification or complementary training: CPA, CMA, MBA, or specialization in finance / data analytics. Experience: 5 years of professional experience in FP&A, financial analysis, business finance, controlling, corporate finance, or consulting finance. Specific Experience: Desirable experience in professional services, loyalty consulting, technology, BPO, SaaS, advisory, marketing services, or project-based companies. Experience in multinational companies, matrix environments, private equity-backed businesses, or scale-ups will be valued. Languages: Advanced professional English for regional/global interaction and executive report preparation. Business Acumen: Understands how value is generated in professional services and converts data into commercial decisions. Structured Thinking: Ability to formulate hypotheses, identify drivers, and communicate conclusions with consultive logic. Executive Communication: Presentation of complex insights in a simple, visual, and action-oriented manner, maintaining clear, polite, and firm communication.
