Job Responsibilities Display a dedication to lead, participate, and support all safety and environmental rules and regulations applicable to the position. Responsible for supervising all production staff during shift. Maintain good working relationships with all employees. Adhere to and implement Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP, FSMA, and SQF requirements and be responsible for daily plant operations, including safety and environmental compliance, food safety, quality control, production, cost optimization, and efficiencies. Provide solutions and promote collaboration among production, maintenance, and quality groups. First line involvement with lockout/tagout procedures and confined space entries. Monitor, review, and suggest/direct initiatives for continuous improvement in all areas of operations. Communicate, foster, and grow continuous improvement and teamwork initiatives throughout the Operations group. Review employee performance and assist in employee development. Work directly with the Quality Manager and other managerial staff to assure quality control standards and customer expectations are upheld throughout processing. Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation of the facility. Observe equipment throughout the facility and report concerns to maintenance staff. Lead work of all production employees. Provide routine feedback to all employees. Assist with scheduling and daily production records as needed. Coordinate supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws, including training employees, appraising performance, rewarding employees, addressing complaints, and resolving problems. Develop a positive relationship with plant management, planning, transportation, quality, and inventory control. Perform other related duties as assigned. Be flexible to work any shift required, including weekends and holidays. Collaborate with other associates in a dynamic environment. Welcome changes in work routine. Job Qualifications 2+ years of supervisory and/or leadership experience required; 5+ years preferred. Ability to sit, stand, walk for long periods of time while performing job duties. Capability of working in confined spaces and from heights, bending, kneeling; able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and wear a respirator. Ability to analyze information quickly to provide feedback in the manufacturing process and troubleshoot equipment failures. Proactive and self‑motivated desire for continuous improvement. Employment Terms ADM requires the successful completion of a background check. The effective pay range for this position is $58,100.00 - $108,000.00. Hourly and salaried non‑exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. If hired, employees will be in an “at‑will” position and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay at any time.
